Please be informed that based on the announcement in Budget Speech 2022, a simplified regulatory framework to facilitate export of jewellery through eCommerce is being implemented. As per these new changes proposed, the following documents have been deemed mandatory for the export of Jewellery shipments through CSB V clearance mode. Hence, for shipments booked through UPS Express Saver Fine Jewellery service, sellers are requested to share these documents during the pickup handover.
- AWB label and Invoice/Invoice-cum-packing list containing product description and SKU No.
- Photos / Color print of the export item.
- Photos / Color print of the product package/outer covering
- Photos / Color print of the product listing on the eCommerce platform.
- Photos / Color print from the Online Payment Gateway Service Providers site (OPGSP) or eCommerce website evidencing payment confirmation.
Kindly make a note of the above and adhere to the same when shipping your next jewelry order through UPS Fine Jewelry service for smoother customs clearance. Appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
