Logistics Partners have limited liability for loss or damage to your items. In the case of an incident, your compensation is normally calculated against a "standard" negligent liability clause. If you opt for insurance / declared value, with minimal costs, our Logistics Partners will cover the ‘gap’ between their "standard" liability and the full value of your item. Currently, the option of insurance/declared value is available on the "Book Shipment” page if you select FedEx or DHL Express as your Logistics Partners

Step 1: When you book the shipment, the shipping fees on the basis of your declared weight is deducted from your prepaid funds.

Step 2: When LSP bills eBay for the AWB as per actual weight /volumetric dimension whichever is higher, EGS bills you as per your billing cycle the fees charged by the LSP in your eBay invoice.

Step 3: EGS will credit the shipping fee amount deducted from your prepaid EGS funds in the same billing cycle which is reflecting in your eBay invoice as a “Wire Transfer”

Step 4: Hence, the net shipping fees payable by you will be only the difference (if any) between your declared weight and LSP charged weight.
