Greetings from eBay!

 

We are glad to inform you that Lexship is providing its shipping services to eBay sellers for their gems and jewelry products through eBay Global Shipping (“EGS”) platform.

 

How does it work?

 

You can now book your shipment of gems and jewelry items using any of the Lexship shipping services (i.e., Ship or Ship+) with no additional documentation requirement. Moreover, Lexship will facilitate sellers for the appraisal process for valuation of the item at no additional cost wherever such appraisal is required by the competent authorities.

 

Things to be followed by sellers:

 

• Item value: Seller must ensure that value of the item on the invoice and airwaybill of the shipment must match the value of its corresponding eBay transaction order/proof of sale.

·         Item quantity: Seller must specify the exact quantity of the item(s) in the invoice. In case of loose gems, stones, beads, please provide the exact number of gems, stones, beads packed in the shipment.

·         Items description: The invoice must contain complete line-item description with the accurate HSN code.

Please note, your packages with inaccurate descriptions or incorrect value and quantity of items shall not be cleared by customs.

 

 

Do sellers need to provide valuation certificates?

 

No, Lexship will provide you this at zero cost as and when competent authorities require your product to be appraised. To ensure that there is accurate valuation, Lexship will collect your eBay transaction order receipts (i.e., proof of sale). Once Lexship receives the order, its operations team will connect with sellers on call. Sellers must share the corresponding eBay transaction order receipt by email to customerservice@lexship.com with the following subject line “EGS G&J Order – AWB XXXXXXXXXX”.

 

Is there any consignment value limit for such orders?

 

Yes, the consignment values of such orders must be in accordance with Duty De Minimis value of destination countries. Please find the limits of some of the countries accordingly:

 

 

For example, in case of USA, you can combine multiple orders such that the total consignment value is less than 800 USD. Please note for EU and UK, combining multiple orders is not allowed on EGS due to latest IOSS-VAT reforms.

 

Eligible product categories for such Lexship services:

 

All jewelry items which satisfy the above consignment limit may be shipped through the aforesaid Lexship services.
