Postpaid Seller Billing of Duty Charges for FedEx Shipments Posted Copy link

Dear Sellers,

Greetings from eBay Global Shipping Team!

As you are aware, when you book a postpaid shipment through eBay Global Shipping (EGS) platform, no duty is collected at the time of booking. The applicable duty charges become payable after the shipment undergoes customs clearance at the destination.

You booked certain postpaid shipments through FedEx during the period September 2025 to June 2026. Following customs clearance, FedEx has provided the final duty assessment of these shipments.

eBay will recover the duty charge from eBay seller account within the next 2-6 working days. We kindly request that you ensure your eBay seller account has sufficient funds to facilitate the recovery. This recovery is made in accordance with the EGS Terms and Conditions applicable to your shipment.

If you have any questions regarding these duty charges, you may raise a Shipment Invoice Dispute through the Resolution Center within 15 days of receiving the duty statement.

Best regards,
eBay Global Shipping Team
