We would like to inform you that pursuant to the latest European Union (“EU”) regulations, a new EU import duty will be effective 1 July 2026 on items entering EU from countries outside the EU. This ends the existing “de minimis” duty exemption for items with declared value below €150.
To help ensure timely customs clearance and minimise disputes, effective 27 June 2026 eBay Global Shipping (“EGS”) will temporarily pause acceptance of EU bound shipments with declared value below €150.
Please note that this pause is temporary and is intended to facilitate the implementation of Delivered Duty Paid (“DDP”) capabilities across EGS in compliance with the above regulations.
